invented here at Fruitsnake Bends is a modification that can be installed on just about any instrument that has built-in sounds, and even on some basic samplers. Physically, it consists of two RCA jacks and an on/off switch. The two jacks are hardwired together, and when the switch is flipped, the jacks are connected to the clock source of the instrument. This allows you to daisy-chain the clocks of several instruments together. You can bridge together as many clocks as you want, and the effects are massively unpredictable - often totally unlike anything that you could imagine. Instruments may start playing random sequences of notes, make insane explosion sounds, LFO-like sweeps and bleeps, or even syncronize your bent soundscapes into a pulsating glitch frenzy. If you're interested in clock bridges, send us an email and we can either install some in your instruments or show you how to install them yourself.
